Dear Alumni, Parents and Friends,
My current thoughts and prayers include concern for Am Yisrael and in particular our American brethren and the Jewish communities in the United States that have suffered due to the recent spate of natural disasters.
We beseech the Almighty to grant them blessings. The Baba Sali zt”l was known to express appreciation for the American people, as he considered America to be the source of chesed in this world. We pray that the coming year will bring joy to those who have suffered as well as good health, success and happiness to all. May the Almighty be merciful with all of Am Yisrael and in particular with the extended Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh family.
We recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Reunification of Jerusalem. I remember how on the 9th of Av in 1967 my father contacted me and asked that I return from Yeshiva to join him on a secret mission which turned out to be the opening of a Yeshiva in the liberated Old City of Jerusalem. He felt that Hashem had returned the city to his people and that his people must give back to Him in return. My father zt”l felt there was no better way to give back than by establishing a continuous learning of Torah  within the Old City’s ancient wall. With his foresight, my father, of blessed memory, began the legacy that I feel privileged to continue here at Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh.
With my father’s “Living Legacy” in mind, we are undertaking a special “campaign” to raise funds. The “Living the Legacy Campaign” is based on the premise that the Yeshiva has been there for you – during your studies here and in the years since – concerned with your physical, emotional, and religious welfare.
The special 24 hour “Charidy “campaign, scheduled for November 7, 2017, has been preceded by two evenings. These evenings have brought enthusiastic response and support. On November 7, the funds already pledged as well as future pledges will be “matched” bringing us closer to the campaign’s objective. We ask that you join us by pledging as soon as possible and act as our emissary for the Campaign by enlisting your friends, relatives, and neighbors to support our beloved Yeshiva.

Please click here to make a donation towards the campaign. If you prefer, you can make your checks payable to American Friends of Netiv Aryeh, 18 Orchard Hill Road, Monsey, NY 10952.
If you are interested in taking a leadership role in this campaign we could really use your help! Please email Rav Dani Bader at [email protected] to volunteer.
May the new year bring only good tidings to all. May you have only good health, success, nachas and joy throughout the coming new year. Shana Tova!
